LANSING — The state has given its first official OK to a Lansing medical marijuana dispensary.
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs' Medical Marihuana Licensing Board approved the state operating license application for HG Lansing at its board meeting Friday.
The dispensary at 1116 E. Oakland Ave was one of 10 to receive conditional approval from the city of Lansing late last month. To operate legally, medical marijuana businesses in Michigan need both local and state licenses.
