All aspects of the cannabis industry are growing, whether ancillary businesses (those that don't actually "touch the plant") or those involved in cultivation and/or retailing.
Extract/Sun Times Network recently published a slideshow of 11 technology solutions created for the budding cannabis industry.
"The marijuana industry is seeing an increasing amount of new technology solutions. More marijuana-related devices, software and apps are hitting the market all the time now," wrote Extract writer Nate Linhart.
Among the solutions highlighted are cultivation technology (specifically LED Lighting), financial solutions to help retailers manage transactions, apps for delivery and other cannabis-related tasks (Cannabis Business Times has an app you can download for free on both the iTunes App Store and Google Play), online reviews and dispensary-search sites, and lab testing services.
