PORTLAND, Ore. -- Marijuana dispensaries saw gangbusters business in the first four days of recreational sales.
Oregon launched its recreational sales Thursday, with some stores opening up at midnight.
Brothers Cannabis in Southeast Portland opened up at midnight and says they're serving 600 people a day -- that's about 20 times more than they usually do.
"We're getting a lot of out of town folks and (people) from Vancouver," said Nyno Thol, co-owner of the dispensary.
Oregrown, a dispensary and grow company based in Bend, was tops in sales statewide.
The shop sold $55,000 worth of marijuana Thursday.
