LAS VEGAS – With recreational legalization in Nevada comes many questions about purchasing, use and safety; and the Nevada Dispensary Association (NDA) is providing answers with the creation of www.GoodToKnowNV.com. An easy reference for frequently asked questions as well as for imminent topics, such as addressing early demand and distribution, the site will be continually updated to incorporate new information as it becomes available.
“Just a few weeks in, we’re finding that people have a lot of questions about recreational usage, from youth prevention and edible safety to wanting to know where they may legally consume cannabis,” said Nevada Dispensary Association executive director, Riana Durrett. “We created GoodToKnowNV.com to provide a simple resource for the general public to help navigate Nevada laws.”
“There will be millions of tourists enjoying recreational weed in Nevada and we want them to have fun, but also know the basic laws,” said Nevada State Senator Tick Segerblom, who has been a champion for legal cannabis in the state.
The sections of the website include: ‘illegal vs. illegal,’ ‘edible safety,’ ‘youth prevention,’ ‘legally purchase,’ ‘resources’ and ‘for employees,’ which provides information about dispensary agent training. The ‘legally purchase’ section includes a comprehensive listing of licensed dispensaries throughout Nevada.
