LAS VEGAS - Sunday marks exactly one year since recreational marijuana became legal in Nevada.
Acres Cannabis, one of the dispensaries in the Valley, says the past year of recreational pot sales have exceeded expectations. Now, they are looking ahead at what the next several years can bring.
Deontae Wilson has become a regular at Acres Cannabis. He says legalizing recreational marijuana in Nevada one year ago has helped countless people -- including himself.
"The recreational part, if they don't want to take the medical route, they can try the recreational, if that works better than the medicine, then they can approach the medical side to help them with their situation," Wilson said.
