WASHINGTON — Medical marijuana patients in Maryland snapped up all the available supply in the first two days of operation at Montgomery County’s first dispensary—Potomac Holistics in Rockville.
Without adequate supply, the facility won’t open as planned on Sunday and may not open as scheduled on Monday.

“The demand has remained very high,” said Potomac Holistics owner, Bill Askinazi. “Our products have been sold out with minor exception for certain, particular strains.”
The facility, and seven others across the state, were provided the same amount of supplies from Maryland’s 15 licensed growers. Askinazi said Potomac Holistics sold all five pounds of medical marijuana plus numerous cases of tablets and elixirs.
