Pueblo County Joins Letter Urging Sessions to Leave Colorado Marijuana Laws Alone

The Pueblo County commissioners will add their voices to a letter telling U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions that he has created uncertainty for local governments by revoking a memo that called for noninterference with marijuana-friendly state laws.

Government officials from across the country have signed on to the letter generated after a teleconference that Commissioner Sal Pace held on Jan. 5.

Pace organized a meeting between more than 100 local officials from across the country, including Colorado, Vermont, California, Florida and Oregon, to speak up on marijuana policy.
