EUREKA, CA — P&B Labs Humboldt, the manufacturing affiliate of Papa & Barkley California (P&B), a science-focused creator of highly effective medical-cannabis wellness products, was issued a cannabis manufacturing license by the City of Eureka in Humboldt County, California.
P&B will expand the operation of its Eureka manufacturing facility from R&D to non-volatile manufacturing to produce the solvent-free, all-natural oils, and cannabis rosin used to create P&B’s award-winning topicals, tinctures, and transdermal patches.
P&B Labs will also produce for its B2B wholesale line, high-quality, solvent free oil, and rosin to partner with companies seeking pure cannabinoids for infusion into edibles and other wellness products. P&B Labs can now help infused product manufacturers ensure that they are fully compliant under applicable current and future medical cannabis laws and regulations.

P&B Labs uses proprietary solvent-free processes to create whole plant infusions that capture full plant profiles in a pure and effective manner. The company will create the highest quality medicinal products from the purest local flowers grown by second- and third-generation Eureka and Humboldt County farmers.

According to a recent report by Arcview Market Research, US and Canadian cannabis sales increased by 30% in 2016 to $6.7 billion. North American sales are estimated to reach $20 billion by 2021. Revenues generated by the cannabis industry in Eureka in 2017 may comprise over 25 percent of Eureka’s economy, generating approximately $415 million in annual sales, according to Jennifer Budwig from Redwood Capital Bank in Eureka.
