October 25, 2018, Los Angeles - PRESS RELEASE - California-based Dr. Robb Farms has announced that it has broken ground on the first of three new innovative facilities transforming the landscape of cannabis. The clean cannabis company has raised a total $24 million for the development and operation of three independent 45,000-square-foot hybrid indoor cannabis farms within the Coachillin complex. Each of the independent lots will incorporate and license the Dr. Robb Farms proprietary standard operating procedures to ensure cultivation practices developed by Dr. Robert Flannery, a PhD in the United States with the technical training and expertise in commercial cannabis cultivation.
Each hybrid indoor cultivation facility is being built with industrial steel, MgO SIPS panels and a UV-transmitting acrylic roof. Each facility will boast leading production capabilities, producing over 1,100 pounds of premium flower per month. Each facility will be able to produce six complete grow cycles a year via its proprietary controlled environment that allows for temperature and humidity optimization, and supplemental light manipulation while also utilizing the power of natural full spectrum UV derived from the sun.
“This is a win-win for both operators and consumers as these facilities will enable us to deliver premium product at a great price," said Flannery. “The natural UVA and UVB light allows for more complex and complete terpene and cannabinoid production which results in higher quality flower with more sophisticated taste and nose, and we have A.I.-driven micro CO2 injections, integrated pest management, improved water use and operational efficiencies which leads to decreased cost of goods sold (COGS)."
Coachillin, an advanced Cannabusiness complex in California, is a 160-acre park with a streamlined regulatory environment. When complete, the complex will feature a testing lab, contract manufacturing facility, visitor center with a dispensary, brewhouse and cannabis tasting room.
