AUGUSTA, Maine. (WABI) Lawmakers returned to Augusta on Monday night to take up Governor LePage's one and only veto from the legislature's recent special session.
Last week, LePage vetoed the bill that would regulate marijuana sales in the state.
House Republicans sustained that veto Monday evening.

The House voted 74 to 62 in favor of an override, but it wasn't enough.
Two-thirds of the legislature was needed to override the veto in order for the law to go into effect.
