Connecticut Adult-Use Sales Top $2 Million in First Week

The state recorded the highest number of sales on its first day of launch, Jan. 10, which brought in $359,099.

Connecticut has brought in a little over $2 million in its first week of adult-use cannabis sales, with the highest number of sales being on its first day of launch, Jan. 10.

According to data from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP), the state’s nine hybrid (adult-use and medical) dispensaries brought in a total of $2,020,358 in sales in the first week, bringing the average price per item to $44.24, with 3,747 units sold.

The state recorded the highest number of sales on its first day of launch, Jan. 10, which brought in $359,099 in sales. Connecticut saw another spike in sales over the weekend, with Friday ($297,481) and Saturday ($317,653) sales being the second and third highest, according to DCP data.
