PALISADE, Colo. The polls may have closed but not all the races over, the fate of Measure 2A and 2B regarding the sale of recreational marijuana in Palisade hinges on just a few votes.
It's been a hotly debated ballot measure for quite some time and many people thought was laid to rest Tuesday night, but rejected ballots from Palisade voters could make all the difference in allowing recreational marijuana sales in another Mesa County community.
According to our newly reelected Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, 18 Palisade votes were rejected and need further verification before they can be counted.
