
Alcohol regulatory specialists will also be trained for marijuana regulations
SALEM, Ore. (AP) – The Oregon Liquor Control Commission is recruiting 11 marijuana compliance specialists in preparation for the Oct. 1 rollout of recreational marijuana.
The Statesman Journal in Salem reports that medical marijuana dispensaries will begin selling marijuana products to consumers in October and the state will begin accepting permits applications for marijuana businesses Jan. 4.
Compliance specialists will investigate businesses and production facilities, as well as organize decoy operations where minors attempt to buy marijuana.
