ATLANTA -Tuesday, the Georgia Senate is expected to vote on a compromise bill to allow the use of medical marijuana.
The bill, which passed a Senate committee last week, would ok cannabis oil to be used as treatment for 8 different diseases.  Those include cancer, Crohn's disease, A.L.S., multiple  sclerosis, seizures disorders, Parkinson's disease, sickle cell anemia, and mitochondrial disease.
Originally, fibromygalia was included. Â But it was removed from the list.
If the bill passes the Senate, it would head to the House of Representatives. Â House Speaker David Ralston wants a quick vote. Which means there could be a bill on the Governor's desk by the end of the week.
