Michigan’s 252 medical marijuana businesses are about to see significant changes in their annual licensing fees.
State regulators are planning to implement a new fee structure Oct. 1 which cuts costs for most businesses but slightly raises them for others.
The main change: medical marijuana businesses will pay licensing fees relative to how big their operation is, in a tiered structure similar to the new recreational marijuana business fees introduced last month.
