You might have to work a little to determine which locale in the United States is the most marijuana-friendly. It could be either Alaska, Colorado, Washington, Oregon or the District of Columbia, in all of which pot is legal not just for medicinal purposes but for recreational use as well.
It might be easier to name the most marijuana-unfriendly state in the union. How about Indiana?
It isn’t just that pot is illegal here. You can also get in big trouble for having gone to another state and legally smoked it there: You could get arrested or lose your job. If Colorado is too lax, we’re still in the draconian “Reefer Madness” frame of mind.
