
[PRESS RELEASE] – GRONINGEN, Netherlands, June 9, 2026 – Village Farms International Inc. announced that it has commenced cultivation at its Phase II cultivation and processing facility in Groningen, Netherlands, following receipt of final regulatory approvals.
The Groningen facility is expected to ramp to full production capacity in early 2027 and will bring the company’s maximum annualized production capacity in the Netherlands to approximately 10 metric tonnes.
