Police: Aspen marijuana heist suspect led Missouri authorities on 100 mph chase

Missouri authorities say a 21-year-old man wanted in the Tuesday hammer-point heist of an Aspen marijuana shop led police in St. Louis Wednesday on a 100 mph car chase.

The St. Louis County Police department says Hayden May also crashed head-on with a patrol car during the chase.

Authorities say May was driving a stolen 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe during the Wednesday pursuit, which had been taken from an Aspen subdivision.

After refusing Missouri officers' commands, police say May was taken into custody.
