The first in what is slated to be a series of three books on cannabis cultivation and extraction by Cannabis Business Times' columnist Kenneth "K" Morrow will be released Jan. 7, 2016. Published by Green Candy Press, the book, "Marijuana Horticulture Fundamentals: A Comprehensive Guide to Cannabis Cultivation and Hashish Production," is being billed as "the largest and most comprehensive guide to growing cannabis ever published."
"The book teaches the fundamentals of growing cannabis to ensure that beginners get it right from their very first grow, and experienced growers can increase their yields and speed up their harvests while cutting down on costs of production," according to a press release from the publisher. "It is a comprehensive guide to the fundamentals of hydroponic, soil and organic marijuana gardening. It explains and explores many different systems for growing cannabis, from basic hand-watered soil gardens to industrial-sized hydroponic marijuana cultivation facilities, and everything in between." Step-by-step photos detail the entire cultivation process.
"Marijuana Horticulture Fundamentals" also shares Trichome Technologies’ advanced hash-making techniques, which "are the worldwide gold standard for how to extract THC and CBD from your marijuana plants, providing easy methods for quality hash and oil for medical and recreational users," the publisher noted in the press release.
Morrow is a 20-plus-year industry veteran and founder of cannabis research and development company Trichome Technologies. He is a widely known expert cannabis cultivator and has been frequently featured in High Times magazine and spoken on panels at many cannabis conferences. He also serves a consultant to largescale industrial cannabis grow operations.
The book will be sold for $30 in bookstores and on Amazon.com.
