EASTHAMPTON -- Massachusetts voters legalized medical marijuana in 2012 -- and on Friday, the second dispensary in the western part of the state will open its doors to the public.
"We've been working on this for five years," said Stephen Reilly, a Springfield lawyer and general counsel for INSA, with its 22,000 square feet of indoor cultivation, light-filled modern dispensary and rock-solid security system at 122 Pleasant St. in the city's mixed-use mill district.
"We have 200 cameras monitoring the enterprise 24-7," said INSA CEO Mark Zatyrka. "And nobody walks in without a state-issued medical marijuana card and a separate form of ID."
