DENVER – PRESS RELEASE – The Green Solution (TGS), one of the largest cannabis dispensary companies in Colorado and nationwide, has announced a multi-faceted reorganization of its executive team to support the company’s growth. At the helm remain TGS co-founders Kyle Speidell and Eric Speidell, who will step into co-president roles supported by an executive panel including Brad Speidell, chief sales officer; Nick Speidell, chief information officer;Steve Lopez, chief executive officer and Tom Prusinski, chief financial officer. Now with 18 existing dispensaries throughout Colorado and more openings slated in the near future, the company’s successful operations continue to resonate outside of the state.
With Lopez’s promotion from chief operations officer to chief executive officer, Kyle and Eric Speidell will transition to co-presidents and co-chairmen of the board of directors. The shared presidential roles for Kyle and Eric Speidell are an evolution of their relentless efforts to legitimize the industry by creating the first cannabis name-brand and framework for a vertically integrated marijuana enterprise.
Sales and strategy leader Brad Speidell has moved from chief dispensing officer to chief sales officer, creating a need for the strategic addition of Nicholas Tedesco, vice president of retail operations. A proven training and operations leader, Tedesco will support Brad Speidell with the company’s ambitious sales and operations strategies, consistent with the company’s executive vision. Having built the industry’s inaugural framework for cannabis compliance, security, and technology consulting, Nick Speidell will continue his role as chief information officer, reinforcing the company’s identity as a cannabis technology company as well as a retailer, boasting a robust, proprietary software stack that handles thousands of daily transactions. The capstone of this software portfolio is MyGreenSolution, the first “eCannabis” online ordering platform. The platforms are accessible via any device, including the (Green) Lifestyle Mobile App, and “self-service” kiosks in forthcoming destination locations, including Aspen and Glenwood Springs.
In his promotion to chief executive officer, Lopez will oversee operations across the company’s seed-to-sale supply chain, with recent success taking on companies with years of underperformance into real profits. Lopez is a commodities expert who knows how to multiply the value of private, public, and venture capital-backed organizations. While other commodities firms floundered in the recession climate of the late 2000s, Lopez has led companies into nearly triple the profits. His career, spanning from high-level financial turnarounds to record-breaking production quotas, prepares him to maintain vertically integrated TGS as a dominant force, primarily through delivering the best value products to eligible consumers. Kyle and Eric Speidell will focus on national and international expansion, where they will liaise with regulatory bodies, investor groups, and other organizations, touting responsible marijuana enterprise and consumption culture.
TGS saw a 15-percent revenue increase in 2018, as well as opened five new dispensaries: four in the Denver metropolitan area and one in Pueblo, Colo. The company will open four new dispensaries by the end of 2019.
