Quest has launched a new dehumidifier that returns cool air to the room – a first for the marijuana industry.
The Quest 185 Cool dehumidifier uses an external condenser to cool the air flowing through the unit. The result is less hot air pumped into the grow room – while still effectively controlling mold-causing moisture – during light periods that produce high levels of heat.
The 185 removes 6.6 pints of water per kilowatt hour at 80 degrees and 60 percent relative humidity.
