Cannabis Market Keeps Growing

The U.S. cannabis industry continues to boom, even in the absence of federal legalization. In 2020, $18.3 billion worth of cannabis products were sold across the U.S. Furthermore, the cannabis industry added 77,300 full-time jobs in 2020—a 32% year-over-year increase—creating a total of 321,000 jobs, as of January 2021. And with more states eyeing medical and/or adult-use legalization, there’s plenty of room for continued growth in the U.S. cannabis market.
