Pennsylvania’s medical cannabis sales have surpassed $500 million since the first dispensaries became operational nearly two years ago, according to a CBS Philly report.
Roughly 147,000 patients are currently enrolled in the program, the news outlet reported, and 72 dispensaries are now open across the state.
Pennsylvania’s medical cannabis program will celebrate its second anniversary in February 2020. This past February, to mark the program’s first anniversary, the York Daily Record reported that the state’s dispensaries had made nearly 600,000 sales that totaled $132 million.
