Dispensary employees, typically referred to as “budtenders,” play a vital role in retail success, as they are the front line of the business and influence consumer purchasing decisions. According to a recent report from cannabis data and research company Headset, “one of the great challenges of managing budtenders, or staff in any business, is employee turnover.”
The report found that budtenders who work at one retailer longer than 12 months are in the minority.
