North Dakota Legislators Set Medical Marijuana Limits in New Bill

New legislation sets limits on how much usable marijuana a patient or caregiver may have.

BISMARCK, N.D. - Voters approved medical marijuana in 2016. At the end of 2018, patients were still waiting for product. Now some legislators have drafted a bill setting limits on how much usable marijuana a patient or caregiver may have.

Under the proposed law, self-grow would be allowed, but limited. Overall, a patient would be able to have no more than 3 ounces and nine live plants.

They would be able to mix and match between self-grow and buying from an authorized dispensary.
