Pennsylvania Bill Would Expunge Marijuana Convictions for Medical Marijuana Patients

Under Senate Bill 1160, people would have to prove they were convicted of possession before Feb. 15, when legal medical marijuana became available.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - Legislation introduced in the state Senate would expunge the criminal records of people convicted of marijuana possession if they can prove the cannabis was for their own medical purposes.

Under Senate Bill 1160, people would have to prove they were convicted of possession before Feb. 15, when legal medical marijuana became available in Pennsylvania.
