LAVAL, QUEBEC-- June 2, 2020 -- PRESS RELEASE -- CNW Telbec -- Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc., a Canadian health and wellness company that operates in the Canadian cannabis oil extraction industry, has announced the appointment of Robert DiPede as senior vice president of the company's Biodroga business unit and recently formed Health & Wellness Innovation division.
DiPede has more than 20 years of experience in sales of consumer packaged goods and health and wellness products across channels, including national retail chains, food/drug/mass retailers and e-commerce. He previously served as Director of Territory & Global Export Sales at Walmart. At Neptune, DiPede will be responsible for driving sales of products by Biodroga and the company's Health & Wellness Innovation division.
Biodroga, acquired by Neptune in January 2016, provides ingredients and product formulation services to North American branded marketers in the health and wellness industry, and more recently, for Neptune-branded consumer packaged goods products. Using extraction and purification technology, Neptune formulates health and wellness products in other industries and is expanding further in hemp and cannabis markets.
